Red Fish Restaurant
While in Hilton Head, SC, we dined at Red Fish since it was listed as a suggested restaurant on our hotel's website. It was our last lunch in the beach town & it exceeded all of our expectations. If you're ever near Hilton Head then you should definitely make time to check out the casual atmosphere & eclectic cuisine offered here. You may also purchase a few bottles of wine from their retail wine shop as souvenirs of your visit.
1/ we were their first customers of the day, so we had this dining room all to ourselves for most of our lunch 2/ The Red, White, & Blue Fried Oysters were a perfect starter to our meal 3/ A large variety of offered wines 4/ Open kitchen views, so we could watch the chefs at work 5/ John's lunch selection, the special soup & quiche of the day 6/ My lunch selection, the Lobster Roll with perfectly seasoned french fries

Roadtrip Roundup, Part Two
Finally, the rest of my images from our roadtrip to Savannah, Georgia & Hilton Head, South Carolina. We really had a great trip & we would love to see more of these cities one day soon.
1/ A view of River Street before we walked down the long, steep steps leading to the cobblestone 2/ John and the river in the distance 3/ A perfectly delicious meal at the River House Seafood & Bakery 4/ We ordered the crab cake as an appetizer, but I forgot to take a picture until we were devouring the last of the bed of mango chutney served underneath the crab cake
5/ Lunch at the Hilton Head Diner upon arrival 6 + 7/ Walking the beach to watch the waves on an overcast afternoon 8/ Pretty palm trees on the pool deck at the Marriott Hilton Head Resort + Spa
9/ A refreshing strawberry daiquiri at the hotel's outdoor restaurant 10/ Another overcast view of the ocean 11/ Light and flavorful fish tacos for lunch 12/ Hotel lobby coffee & donuts for a quick breakfast before hitting the road on our way back to Athens

Roadtrip Roundup, Part One
Below are the images I took on the days leading up to & during our roadtrip to Savannah, Georgia, where we spent one night's stay before heading on our way to Hilton Head, South Carolina. John's company held their annual managers awards ceremony at a resort on the island, so it was ultimately a work obligation, but we got to spend some quality time together as well.
